We have set the bar for technical backpacking packs by combining Anti-Gravity technology with customizable fit and innovative features like our new convertible top lid to create a more capable and comfortable pack for long-haul load carryingon any multi-day excursion.


Anti-Gravity Suspension & Backpanel LightWire tensioned, full peripheral frame comfortably transfers pack load. With top to bottom suspended mesh wraps shoulders, back and hips for a fully integrated backpanel fit.	Sleeping Bag Compartment Built with a separated zippered sleeping bag compartment with a removable divider.	Custom Fit The IsoForm5 harness and CM hipbelt provide outstanding fit and comfort for especially heavy loads and long miles. Both components are interchangeable to provide a truly custom fit.	Internal Compression Strap Helping make sure you are utilizing as much space as possible inside of the pack.

This is my third heavy duty backpack in my life and it is by far the best. It is great for the trail. It is good for the plane. The weight distribution is excellent! I thought the detachable spare backpack on the top would be whatever but I used it for several flights as my carry-on. I wouldn't recommend the spare backpack for a lot of weight but for a few light things it is perfect.
The straps and belt for the heavy duty part of the backpack are excellent. Access is perfect. The extra side pouches and straps are really usable. Recommend.

The journey of 5000+ solo, self-supported backpacking miles across America begins with the first step (of course). However, between the beginning and the end, there's a hella lotta load hauling that's gotta be done! This ingenious (yeh, i said it) contraption manages to make much lighter work of some decently heavy loads. On days between resupplies, where the load can get a lil lighter, i appreciate the compression straps that help redistribute weight and hold the pack closer to your back. This is a winning deliberation.

The frame system on this pack is remarkable - it places much of the weight on your hips which is where you want it. Everything on this pack is well thought out and it honestly took me a few days to find all the nooks and cranes that this pack has. Everything thing on this pack is top notch and very well thought out. I do wish that it came with its own rain fly ( as some of Ospreys smaller packs come with them). But that wasn't a deal breaker.
I researched for weeks on which pack to get for an upcoming back country trek in Alaska - and this one fit the bill in every way possible.

This pack felt like it hugged me the entire week. The weight transferred perfectly to my hips and my back felt great the entire trip. I am very happy with this pack and am looking forward to using it again. Hopefully soon!

This is a great backpack! My husband has a long torso and this pack fits perfectly. We were not expecting the antigravity system to work as well as it does. His only complaint now is that he wishes he got a bigger one. It is easy to adjust and comfortable even when it is fully packed. I should note that his previous pack was from the '80s so most backpacks made today would be an improvement.

So far this bag seems really well made. My 16 year old is in the Boy Scouts and is pretty rough on hiking bags. He’s in a very active troop and has been through 2 other brands so far, but this one has already stood the 16 year old test. He also says it is more comfortable than the other bags. I will update if he tears it up, but so far it’s been on 3 trips and is about to go on a 7 day snow skiing trip. It is expensive, but I think if we had started with this bag we would have actually saved money.

Phenomenal backpack! This has outperformed any other pack I've had. I have taken long mileage, multi-day trips and this has accommodated all of my gear with ease. The new AG (Anti-Gravity) helps evenly distribute the weight of the pack, making it feel much lighter. There are a ton of adjustment straps that help tailor this to your specific fit. I recommend getting the hydration bladder for the pack, though any Camelbak bladder would do just fine.

I was sceptical at first with downsizing to a 85L but this this held everything my other pack did and fits way better. The antigravity is a nice hugging system and the fact the top comes off to become a day pack is really useful. Not the lightest pack but it makes up for it in comfort.
