this absorbs fine, but not that great. it doesn't glide across your body. it sticks in place and you're more like daubing yourself dry where a towel moves back and forth. i don't like it. it's probably just for traveling in the mountains with a backpack where you want something to dry quickly and be lightweight. it's just not for home use.
