Hi Brianna,
I’m no expert on this, I only wear silver, including my wedding band. Maybe it’s white gold, I can’t honestly remember! I don’t worry about my jewellery at all, but I’d be tempted to leave anything very valuable at home in a safe place. I only have with me what I wear every day.

I like your style, do what works for you. I have traveled a lot but just for up to 2 months at one time. This is the 1st time I will do a RTW trip; I have been reading 100s of blogs and end up buying travel clothes I would never have bought otherwise and I hate them… but anyway… now I know, and I will only pack clothes I like. I am a heavy packer and bought a 75l backpack, it is crazy how much you can pack in a back pack. I will try to do the “remove half thing”.

I’m enjoying following your travels through your posts. I was wondering if you might be able to give us an update on your ‘packing list’?

What have you used constantly, what have you reluctantly left behind and missed, what have you forgotten and had to buy along the way? Will you need to stock up on more winter gear as you head north for a UK Christmas? And will you ditch any of your summer gear as you travel into ‘winter mode’ to save lugging it around?

We are getting closer to our departure date, and I’m whittling my packing list with a sharp pencil… any advice most welcome : )
