Our Market

Borough Market consists of three main areas: Three Crown Square (larger producers and merchants), Green Market (small, specialist produce traders) and Borough Market Kitchen (street food traders). Surrounding the Market, you’ll find a complementary blend of restaurants, bars and shops.

Accessibility

The Market’s public spaces are laid out on a single ground-floor level, so have no need for lifts or stairs. However, a few of our restaurant buildings are multi-storey.

Due to its historic nature, our estate contains several different surfaces (including some cobbles), with some areas harder to access than others. The passageways are of varying widths – from 1.5 metres to 4 metres. At peak times, particularly Saturday afternoons, visitor numbers can be high.

Fully-fitted accessible WCs with emergency pull strings can be found in four locations during Market trading hours, with no radar access key required. The Borough Market Store, located just inside the main Market entrance, is fully accessible for wheelchair users and is a good place to request further information (currently closed due to Covid restrictions).
