We carry 3 laptops, 3 kindles, 2 phones Britt. Without internet connections we’d never be able to organise or plan anything ( let alone work!). I’m not a fan of tablets for kids, I think if we’re out or travelling, they need to experience that, not be gaming. I’m happier with the laptops, which of course aren’t so portable, they’re for “home base” only. We already owned mosquito nets, so we brought them. We’ve used them a couple of times but in the past we really needed them for trekking, so had to buy them. Check if you need them where you’re going. You rarely do. We take mozzie repellent for arrival, then buy as we go. I actually love a particular product they sell in Bangkok, so we often stock up there.
