It encouraged us to check out Kanchanaburi and we loved it. We also avoided the war stuff and saw some really great temples and rode bikes in the countryside. Hi Bev, we were at Sugar Cane guest house in Kanchanabury. It’s very basic, no frills, but was a lovely spot , especialy for the kids to run around and have a bit of freedom.
