But a couple of times I’ve amazed myself, once covering 10 miles in a day, and actually hitting 14 miles just days before leaving the UK.

I walked from Bloomsbury to Kensington Palace, then looped down to Buckingham Palace before returning home. But I have my phone with me always, so usually still get some screen time in during meal breaks. 😉

Trust me Yxxah, on the days we don’t go out, we’re all on computers all day, it’s what we enjoy. My son is an amazing reader, but you have to remove all other, more interesting, distractions first. With the life we lead, lots of time on buses and trains, he gets plenty of reading time.

With today’s technology, people are stuck at home in front of the computer all day, so its nice to see a family, especially kids, enjoying a normal day outside. Aside from that, seeing a kid read a book is nice to see. Kids nowadays have all their attention caught by computers, giving them less time to read and go outside for a fun day.
I hope other people can learn from this example.

No, it’s dollars, it’s 7 pounds something per adult, from zone 5. The closer into the city, the cheaper it gets. Kids under 11 are free if travelling with an adult. You need an Oyster card, they’re free and save you money, just register for one at a station. Buses in London are really cheap too.
