Hi Alyson,

Found your post as a tourist wanting to renew my passport here in Bangkok. Great read. Thanks.

I am wondering did you have to do anything after picking up the new passport. Since the visa exemption immigration stamp is in the old passport, did you simply exit the country by presenting both passports? Or did you have to transfer the tourist visa stamp to the new passport at some other office first?
