The same happened to me last week. I was supposed to fly from London Heathrow with Middle East Airlines and the flight cancelled. MEA said that I need to contact GoToGate for the full refund.

Then I had to book Emirates flight with AED 2300 for one way to Dubai.

I couldn’t still connect with gotogate, and they are not replying to my emails.

Our credit card’s 3d party insurance company says our card no longer covers carrier insolvencies. Their on line info says they do. I might have to play the lawyer card.
