Room doors have an alarm so people can leave them open too long and roam from room to room which also keeps noise levels down. Perfect for tourists and business travellers. Design of the hotel is superb with excellent attention to detail. Beds are super comfortable and everything modern and works well, Breakfast was very good and they have good range of options plus a live order kitchen service for things like Omelettes. Upstairs restaurant has a great vibe and amazing view with a bonfire on cold nights. Great way to meet other guests in the hotel. Hotel owners are super nice and have thought of every detail in terms of keeping guests happy. Overall excellent value for money, will definitely stay again.

Located in Kathmandu, 1.6 mi from Hanuman Dhoka, Flying Yak Kathmandu features air-conditioned accommodations and a bar. I stayed in the dorm and it was good value. Clean and comfortable. The owner is very kind and offers you a drink when you arrive. They arranged a taxi for my pick up and a driver was at the airport when I arrived. I paid the driver directly for my taxi but rate was lower than if I took a taxi from the airport.

All employees from the front desk, the manager, the restaurant staff and the cleaners were very accommodating. All spoke English and they all took care of our every need. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The included breakfast was varied and filling. The location was excellent and near many shops that we visited. It is near the airport which makes it handy. The menu in the restaurant offers a good variety of food and the curried chicken was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel!
