It was an incredible experience, the rainforest, waterfalls & the people. We camped on the Annan river, just out of town, cooked all our dinners over our fire & slept in the back of our old hr Holden station wagon. I could go on & on but there’s too much to tell. We were 17, we loved it & now I can’t wait to take my teenage sons to see it. Great review & thanks for reminding me!

Thank you for your story we have just arrived here at Cooktown, after doing that cool 4×4 track I must say We loved it, everything you have said is spot on:) we are camping at the moment quit nervy with all the snakes and crocks, we are going fishing tomorrow in a 12 ft dingy 25hp that we are renting for 120 for the hole day. Should be good. Hope the boat is big enough…
