I stayed at Sourire at Rattanakosin Island Hotel last year on my holiday trip. It was a nice experience. Thanks for the list. Now, I have a few more good options to stay.

I was finding it hard to find fun, funky budget accommodation online for our family trip to Thailand. Too many things that flag up as ‘kid friendly’ are massive hotels with no soul and a high price tag! After finding your blog I booked the Shanti Lodge and we loved it. thanks so much for your detailed recommendations. I’m planning to take my son (who will be 11 by then) to Thailand next May for 3 weeks. It will be our first time there and as a single mum I am slightly nervous but think it will be a great adventure

Bangkok is the perfect mixture of nature and city life. Just loved it. We stayed in Shanti Lodge. They provided excellent service. Also, the breakfast was delicious.Thanks for the post.
