Although the spacious rooms, artistic detailing and facilities such as bars (I love that blue bottle bar by the way) and restaurants (the food looks super yummy) are very important aspects of a luxurious resort stay, I think what makes or breaks an experience the attitude of the staff. You say the staff was very warm, personal and welcoming and that I believe is the key aspect of a good resort.

Impressive and beautiful accommodations…I could certainly appreciate the peaceful oasis of the pool and other water features. The rooms are spacious and decorated with gorgeous details. And the food looks amazing! While I don’t often get to experience luxury, I’d certainly love to stay here!

Vietnam is definitely on my wish list – and the Almanity Hotel in Hoi An would be a great place to relax after a some exploring. I love the look of the pools and the spa sounds amazing

This place looks gorgeous. Vietnamese food, a spa, Japanese gardens and excellent service – how can you go wrong. I do like that you emphasized getting out into town to experience local culture.

Looks like a great choice for those looking for a resort style hotel. I really enjoy my time in Hoi An several years ago. We stayed in a wonderful historical hotel and it was a great town to walk around in the morning before it got too busy.
