I ordered 14 for our guys in the shop. I was disappointed that one of them didn't work when i took them out of the box. I thought I would take a chance and I opened the package and plugged the light into my phone charger. Within 1 hour, the light was fully charged and the brightness was much better than the other 13. This is really good to know because I am an early shopper and these are for Christmas. I can give them all a good charge before i wrap them up for the holiday. There were no instructions in the package, so if you plan to give these as a gift, you might want to download the instructions from the internet

Hat is very comfortable, breathable. I tend to sweat wearing any hats and the fabric doesn’t do that for me. The light is really bright and haven’t found a reason to use it yet but it’s great to know if I need it, it’s there. I will update in the future if there’s more to say.
Get it. Price is a steal.

Still great. Use it at night in winter when when walking dogs. Also, charges well.

I find this to be plenty bright. Use it to move around the house in the early hours and for walks before or after dark. The way I use it it lasted a couple of weeks before needing to be recharged. Note: It's not obvious which way to plug it in as both work, so when I tried yesterday I thought it didn't work, but today tried turning it around. It glowed pale orange, then in about an hour glowed bright red. What I don't like is it doesn't work well on stairs because it faces forward, so I have to manually tilt it, but that's OK. I just ordered a second one. It would probably not fit my 24" headed guy.
Edit: I got another one, gray, and it needed to be charged soon - it actually turns GREEN when the charging is done and it took about 2.5 hours to charge it.

I didn't even know that there was such a thing. I always used a hand held area light while painting, but it didn't really work while staining floors. This was perfect. I use the hat, and I can easily see any sawdust or debris before I poly it into the floor. I read some reviews, and many people said that they use it to walk their dogs at night. Well, I live in Chicago, and I'm not thinking that it would be a spectacular idea to walk down the block with a big spotlight on my head. Although I 'm sure that it works great for others.

An ordinary acrylic cap with a bright LED inset that is USB rechargeable.

I'm putting these in my glove compartments for when I need to change a tire, or look under the hood, or do anything else around the car in the dark.

I gave one of these to an old lady-friend of my wife, who uses it when she walks her repulsive little yap-dog.

When I was young, I used to dig clams, sometimes in the dark on an early or late tide. This hat would have been a godsend.
