I took this out of the box, put the batteries in based on the markings (double checked that I had it right), it turned on. I ran it for about 3 minutes trying out the features. First off, it does not zoom!!! Other than that it worked as expected. There is a thin, cheap rubber cover that goes over the battery compartment. Easily comes off it’s held on by nothing but the thin rubber lip!
So then I plugged it into the usb charger (yes, the usb was getting power), and let it charge. Went back 8 hours later and while it was still plugged into the charger I turned it on. It turned on just fine. Unplugged it from the usb charger, would not turn on. Tried like 10 times. Plugged back into charger and it turned on. Unplugged from charger, would not turn on. LOL. Useless!!
I suppose if you have a mile long usb charging cord then sure. LOL. Otherwise, DO NOT BUY.
