Really wanted to like it... But...

I really wanted to like this backpack, it really is good looking and safe.

The reason why I am giving only two stars is because it has already broken on me, the USB cable that goes in the battery pack became loose so I can't really use it, only after 2 weeks of use. I have posted a question about support without response from the company.

The other reason why I give it two stars, which I think is more important, is because of the poor airflow in the back. Due to the design and the material, the cushion that touches the back causes the back to sweat a lot, and I mean A LOT. Causing for any person to be uncomfortable while wearing it. Needless to say I won't be using this back pack on a daily basis since it is not something that can be ignored. So of you walk at least 10 minutes with it you are likely to get sweat on mild weather.

Great bag for a light load

So I wanted to wait until I returned from my Greece trip before writing a review. Two international trips later, here is my review.

The bag itself is amazing. Super cute and sleek. My friends and I keep commenting about how smooth that pink part is (so soothing to stroke it hahaha).
The bag comes exactly as advertised, and comes with a mini tote bag as well. I haven't had a chance to try the luggage strap part since I don't think it will work well with my luggage.
I thought I'd get more use out of the battery USB link, but I found it inconvenient for me while I was travelling, only because I don't have a long enough USB for my phone for it to be stowed nicely. Also once it's done charging, I don't like to have my battery pack left on (but this is not a fault on the bag, but more for me as a user).
The cover seen in the pics is actually stowed/attached to the bottom of the bag.

My favourite parts about the bag is really the easy access pockets on the outside.
The two on the sides and the one on the lower back is really great!
I didn't use the ones on the straps since they were a tad small for my purposes (I like to use a card protector on my transit cards so it won't fit).

The reason why I loved the outer pockets is because the actual big zipper is a bit "tricky" to get into if you're in a rush.
I know, it's an anti-theft bag, so obviously it's not supposed to be easy. Honestly I do wish I didn't have to set my bag down every time to guide the zippers though. VERY minor fault that could be annoying to some.

Also, another minor fault is that the bag honestly can't fit that much. It's great if you're not carrying a lot, which I was fine with. If you're expecting to use this as your only travel "luggage" while traveling abroad, it is definitely not big enough.

For people who like compartments, this is not for you lol
I personally didn't mind, since a lot of regular backpacks don't have too many on the inside anyways.
I just really utilized the outer pockets.

My friend didn't get this bag while I made the purchase because she was concerned it might look to bulky in the back, so I've attached a picture of me with the pack. I didn't think it was too bulky at all.

Overall, I really like this bag and highly recommend it!

Tl;dr

Pros:
-Awesome sleek look
-Great construction
-Pretty light weight
-THE OUTER POCKETS that are easily accessible AND pretty steal-proof
-Lots of extras (USB battery cord, mini tote, attached bag cover)

Cons:
-Main compartment can be a little easier to get into
-Not too much space inside
-(Potentially) Not enough compartments for some
-No water bottle holder

Perfect Travel Backpack - Fashion, Security, and Function

I had been looking for a great daily travel bag for years. I was a serial bag buyer. Cross-body, sling, travel, convertible...Constantly researching bags, using them for one to two uses, and having to move on to the next because they fell apart, or worse, left me in pain after a day of heavy activity. I was exhausted and unsatisfied.

Then I found the Bobby Backpack.

I have had this bag for near a year, and I am still reaching for this bag as my go-to. The thing still looks brand new after a quick cleaning with a damp cloth.

I resisted this bag because of the price tag, but I am glad I finally convinced myself to spend a little bit extra. The Bobby Backpack is a perfect storm of fashion, security, and function. It is fashionable. Cute, sleek, and modern. It is secure, in a functional way. No padlocks, exposed clips, or other annoying security measures that ruin the ease and function of the bag. You can use the Bobby just like any other backpack, the zippers are just hidden close to your body. You will use every special function offered. The exterior pockets are my favorite, and the rain cover saved me more than once.

The only con I can think of is that the water bottle holder is on the inside. But I understand why they did that. The exterior looks very sleek right now, and an exterior sleeve would alter the aesthetics.

Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this backpack. The Bobby Compact Backpack is the perfect storm of day packs, combining fashion, security, and function. Get it. You won't regret the price after using it constantly.

Exactly what I wanted but 4 Stars Because...

I would give this five stars but my issue with it, is it's not easy to get into when you're trying to reach for something at the bottom of the bag. This is on the rare occasion that I need to though.
I have included a tape measure in my pics to help you gauge the exact sizing of the bag.
I chose the mint green because it's my second favourite colour (after lilac.) It really blends well with the grey on the bag.
Do go for something darker if you live in a dusty environment like I do. And if your daily commute is anything like mine, you will quickly notice the dirt on the bag. A quick wipe down with a damp cloth will fix this though.
It is an overall aesthetic bag. I must add that the mint green part has such a lovely texture, I kept reaching for the bag to run my hand over it. It does scuff rather easily, be warned.
The bag is superbly comfortable. I immediately noticed how much lighter all my stuff felt when I moved it into my Bobby. The shoulder straps are adjustable and padded, and there is a little elastic band on either side of the straps to hold the rolled up length of the strap.The back panel has a foam layer with a mesh covering for ventilation. I was outdoors in the sun for an afternoon and didn't get a sweaty back.
The ergonomic design does not lie! It also holds its shape rather well but you have to be careful not to smoosh the bag unnecessarily.
I love the fact that it opens flat, which makes for easy organising.
I will come back and edit the review after a few months of use to see how it holds up.

Purchased this for my trip to Barcelona and it did a great job!
Firstly the bag looks great, lovely material and super sturdy! Very bright however it can mark easily. Havent tried cleaning it yet but i was aware of this before i made my purchase!
When it comes to the space inside the bag i would say its a little under what you'd expect however i was pleasantly surprised when mine arrived.
On the outside of the bag there are two very small pockets at the side located by the straps, i feel that these are accessible to thieves as mine always seem to be down so don't put anything important in there or it'll be gone! (mine just contained chewing gum and hair bobbles)
Theres another pocket located horizontally across the bottom of the backpack the back which is great for phones, the zip for this pocket has a little cover which makes it hard for you to just open it as a thief but you have to make sure that you don't put the zip in the wrong way but it's really hard to get out, speaking from experience!
In the advertisement for the bag it shows two small openings on the straps that could be used for keeping in a credit card but in my experience whatever's in there just slips out so it wouldn't use those!
The zips for the main compartment I feel are hidden well however i used an additional lock to ensure that nobody can get in as I was in very touristy areas and the metro!
The bag contains a raincover attached to the bag in the underside of the bag! One of the features of the bag was that it was water repellent, I didn't use the rain cover when it was chucking it down and everything inside still stayed dry.
The bag also came with a mini version of the bag which turned out to be a shopping bag type thing!
The bag is sturdy and super light even when it was full to capacity I barely felt it on my back!
Overall I'm really happy with my purchase and I'll definitely be using it on all my city trips from now on!

Great bag and ideal for day trips

I bought this bag as my other half had one and I became really jealous, thankfully they come in lovely colours and I love my mint green bag which I have received many comments on. It is really well made and looks and feels brilliant. There are so many pockets I am loosing things in it.

The bag has its own jacket based in the bottom on the outside go the bag which is great, however the bag is pretty water resistant anyway.

The only reason I dropped it a star as I was expecting to use it on a daily basis as I walk to and from work, unfortunately on days I require a food shop the bad itself is probably big enough for a loaf of bread and my purse and water bottle. Luckily it does come with a small foldable bag which helps slightly.
Also another downside is my the holdall for the power bank section is quite small, so id make sure you wait till you have the bag before buying one as the one I already own doesn't fit, I have to stretch it to another compartment in the bag.

On the whole I do like this bag, but primarily use it on the weekends and going abroad. I didn't feel like I needed to upload any photos as they images other customers have supplied are decent enough to show the bag off.

Ya conocía esta mochila porque tengo otra igual pero de otro color, para mi gusto es posible que sea una de las tres mejores mochilas que se encuentran en el mercado, es casi perfecta.
Tiene un diseño raro, pero bonito y practico, cuanto mas la ces y la usas mas te gusta.
Es completamente imposible que te la abran en ninguna parte, ya puedes estar en la mayor aglomeración del mundo, si no te la quitan, es imposible, es anticorte la espalda, con lo cual tampoco van a robarte nada, se ajusta muy bien a la espalda, con las dos pequeñas alas que tiene se acopla muy bien a la forma del cuerpo.
Los tirantes de la mochila son muy anchos y sobre todo muy gruesos con lo cual amortigua mucho el peso que llevas, entre los dos tirantes lleva un asa muy fuerte y grande para llevarla cómodamente de la mano, en el fondo de la mochila lleva una pequeña cremallera, la abres y sale una funda que cubre toda la mochila para que no se moje ó si vas en moto etc.
En el interior de las 2 alas laterales lleva sendas cremalleras para cosas pequeñas, en la espalda de la mitad de la mochila hasta abajo lleva otra cremallera de lado a lado, caben muchas cosas, y después en los propios tirantes, como son muy anchos llevan una abertura cada uno de ellos para algo pequeño, el abono trasporte, un billete, unas pastillas etc, todo esto es exterior.
En el interior cabe casi todo lo que se te ocurra, pues tiene huecos por todas partes, atrás en el fondo lleva un bolsillo grandecito para guardar una betería externa ( si quieres utilizarla para usar el cargador exterior que lleva, si no para cualquier otra cosa, delante de este bolsillo una cremallera para meter cosas que quieras mas seguras, y delante en el mismo bolsillo 4 huecos para bolígrafos.
Debajo hacia el fondo de la mochila, pero hacia la parte trasera, lleva una bolsa plegable que trae con los mismos colores y forma muy parecida a tu mochila, cuando la abres es enorme, va sujeta con una goma para que no se mueva, y al lado otra goma mas grande para que sujetes lo que quieras.
En la otra parte de la mochila ( lo que seria el frente pero por dentro ), lleva un velcro bastante grande que sujeta dos huecos, en una puedes guardar un portátil de mas o menos 13 /13,5 pulgadas, en algunos portátiles caben de 14 según la forma y la marca, y en el otro hueco yo por ejemplo llevo una Tablet de 10 Pulgadas, cabe bien, y ya por fin te queda el resto de la mochila o sea todo el centro para que guardes lo que necesites, yo unas veces llevo algo de ropa para el gimnasio, y otras algo de comida ( a veces las dos cosas ), pero tampoco pensemos engrandes cantidades, una cosa normal, hay que pensar después en el peso, por si tuvieras que andar mucho tiempo con ella, pues pesa un poco.
Tejidos excelentes de muy alta calidad, y acabado superior, no se le pueden poner muchas pegas, bueno............quizás el precio son un poquito caras, pero es que lo valen, tienes una ventaja, te puedes ahorrar entre 10 ó 15 euros si no te importa mucho el color, hay unas mas baratas que otras, las que tiene Amazon y venden ellos mismos son unos 10 euros menos que si la pides a XD Design a través de Amazon, cuesta un poquito mas, pero como creo que durara mucho tiempo tampoco es un problema como para desecharla.
Bueno como comprenderéis solo se abre por la espalda, lleva una cremallera con 2 tiradores para abrir la mitad para cada lado, después la mochila se abre como 30 grados, después unos 60 grados y abierta del todo no llega a 180 grados, pero abre mucho, quizás unos 120/130 grados.
Muy chula y muy poco vista........hasta ahora.
