What it does

We recently traveled to Disney with our 10 month old. We knew that we wanted to maximize our time at the parks and that meant sleeping in the stroller. We purchased a stroller that we knew she would be comfortable sleeping in, but did not want to worry about throwing a blanket over the stroller constantly. I came across this after buying the snooze shade for the pack and play. This product is just as amazing. It is breathable, easy to put on the stroller and saved the day for nap time!

I am 110% a believer in this product and would buy again in a heartbeat!!

This snoozeshade for the stroller is AMAZING! I wish I knew about it when my son was born, as it would have given me a lot more freedom throughout the day rather than being imprisoned at home during nap time. My son slept great the first few months on the go without the need for blackout; however, after that he’d rarely sleep more than a half hour in his stroller with a thin blanket covering him inside. We were planning an international vacation and I found this while looking for blackout travel curtains. Didn’t know if the reviews were for real, but I wanted them to be true so I bought one. Instant stroller nap heaven! We took it camping upon receipt and baby would nap underneath while being pushed around the campsite. Once in deep sleep we could leave him in the shade and he’d keep sleeping. While he doesn’t always sleep as long as he would if in his crib at home, it is pretty close! Worked wonders on our vacation and I keep it with my stroller at all times now in case I need it, since you never really know where the day will take you. There are three Velcro tabs on each side of the shade, which make it pretty adaptable to most strollers. We use it on both an UPPAbaby Cruz and a Mountain Buggy Nano. This should be on every new mom’s baby registry.

A Complete Blackout Curtain for City Select Lux

This is a true blackout curtain for strollers. It's much thicker than I expected it to be even knowing this. While the fabric is "breathable," it feels very heavy likely because it's layered to keep any and all sunlight out from your snoozing infants. I'm worried that it would be too warm for a child underneath but the added zipper to check on the child is a nice touch.

It's definitely much thicker than my Baby Jogger City Select/LUX Bug Canopy, Black specifically made for my Baby Jogger City Select Lux. I prefer the Baby Jogger material but this definitely provides more sun coverage though I worry about how breathable it is in hot weather. I thought it was too short when I pulled it out but it fit perfectly on my stroller. I looped it around the bottom of the seat first before attaching it to the sides of my stroller.

I ordered this for our Pet Gear No Zip pet stroller. We have a 6 year old, 12 lb Boston Terrier who loves to travel with us. Using this sunshade, it completely blocks his view (he’s a rescue that is reactive to other dogs), and keeps others from seeing into the stroller, which even allowed stealthy trips into restaurants while we traveled, very convenient so we didn’t have to worry about leaving him in the car, which is never an option. To note, our dog is very well behaved and completely calm and quiet in a stroller, so unless you look hard at the stroller brand, most would think we have a baby not a dog. The darkened environment seems to have a calming effect, which is perfect for him since he loves to relax in his crate. The size is very roomy for a pet stroller, so we actually never need to take it off, just undo the two top Velcro straps and he is easily accessible. The little zipper window lets me peek in anytime. This item is just perfect for our use, just wish I bought it sooner!

I cannot rave about this product enough. We have used it for parades, trips to parks and zoos, amusement parks, etc. It provides a really nice shade for the baby, making it possible for him to sleep no matter where we are and to keep the sun off of him. For a parent with skin cancer in the family, being able to have a level of control for sun exposure is a huge relief. We do use sun screen even with using the shade because there are spaces between the stroller and the shade in some areas, but my son has not gotten so much as a tan while under the shade. This is one of my favorite "baby gear" purchases and I most definitely recommend it, especially for a family that loves to be outdoors

Best purchase we’ve ever made. We bought it for Disney World, and this paired with a fan from Amazon, kept our 8 month old cool! We still use it for the zoo, walks, any outdoor outing really. We’ve used it on 2 different strollers. You can completely cover them, or just cover their legs. Or I just pull it down under the foot rest to not use at all without taking it off. I tell everyone about this thing, it really is great!

I LOVE this! My baby was born in the end of June & we've had a lot of heat this summer so it has allowed me to take him for walks as well as act as a black out shade to encourage napping. I use it over my Chico Key fit car seat in my Thule jogging stroller & it is awesome. I will say that if it is warm out you may want to add a fan to keep air moving, I also have a portable white noise machine in mine for super naps on our walks...first time mom! I haven't used it with a traditional stroller yet, but I imagine it will work well. It really is quite sheer & stretchy while still providing good spf coverage & keeping it dark. Highly recommend if you live in a sunny climate or just want your kid to get a great nap!!!

I love this product. I have been looking something like this for a while. I don't like putting blankets over my infant son's car seat or stroller because I feel that it creates an uncomfortable heat pocket. This blocks all of the sun but is breathable and there is a zipper that you can open so you can see your child. It's especially perfect for people Who have older children and therefore need to take out their new infants into the sun when they follow their older children to the playground etc.

I can't recommend the snoozehade enough for babies that find sleep hard. My baby is currently 4.5 months and has found sleep difficult since she was born. She NEVER slept on her pram ever. I bought the snoozehade and was apprehensive about using it because I know my LO needs her sleep and was scared to take her in the pram incase she didn't actually fall asleep and then missed her nap. I contacted snoozehade who advised me to use it partially so she gets used to it...it worked first time!!!! Now you have to understand...my baby NEVER fell asleep in her pram since she was born...and off she nodded! Needless to say I cried with happiness and have since been out everyday for a week and each time she has nodded off. It's a miracle worker! The lovely people at snoozehade were so helpful and understanding of my predicent too. All in all, a must!

It really is brilliant, would really recommend. You can tell it’s designed by a Mum! I originally bought this as my son hates the sun in his eyes, it works brilliantly as a sun shade (although you can’t see into the pushchair when using it this way and pushing it, not much of an issue though). But, even better than that, Little Man (currently 5 months old) doesn’t sleep very well at all in the day, especially when we’re out and about, he’s too nosey! Since buying the SnoozeShade, as soon as he starts showing signs of being tired I fasten it on - it’s really easy to use - and we get about an hour snoozing instead of 15 minutes and it’ll be brilliant for our summer holiday this year.

Excellent but beware if you have a yo-yo

This is a genius product. I took it away with my yo-yo babyzen newborn pram. It doesn’t fit that configuration very well - you have to pull it over the handle bar. Makes it somewhat awkward and doesn’t completely keep the sun off the baby but let’s fresh air in which is a bonus. It fits my other pram a bugaboo Fox like a dream. I think the yo-yo newborn configuration is probably one of very few prams this doesn’t fit perfectly so not letting this impact my review very much. I would still wholeheartedly recommend it. Once I upgrade to the 6 month old yo-yo configuration it will fit perfectly based on prams I’ve seen at the park.

This is a really excellent design; I bought it on 19/6/20 ready for my 5 week old grandsons first 'proper' trip out, in the midst of the COVID-19 situation. We used it on a Joie Ramble XL carrycot and also tried it on the Joie Litetrax 4 stroller and it fits perfectly. We were out for 2 hours altogether - it was a very sunny day, clear sky , with average temperature around 23 deg C. My daughter-in-law periodically popped her hand under the sun shade just to check the temperature but it was nice and cool, so much so that our little treasure slept for the entire trip! The fact that the shade completely covers the carrycot and will do the same on the stroller gave an added comfort factor as we really struggled with some people completely disregarding recommended social distancing, an added bonus which I'm sure the designer wouldn't ever have dreamt of. I highly recommend this sun shade to all new parents.

Help your reluctant napper - get a Snooze Shade!

I’ve got a baby who is extremely against the concept of napping (to the point she gets angry when she works out you’re trying to get her to nap). She can be falling asleep, even spend a couple of minutes with her eyes shut, and then jerk herself awake to look at something. She’s obsessed with light and looking at *everything* ... all of which add up to overstimulation, overtiredness, and a miserable cycle of trying to get her to relax and get enough sleep.

This cover has worked wonderfully - when she’s closing her eyes in the pushchair, I quickly lift it up over the canopy, and by the miracle of the Snooze Shade, her closed eyes actually turn into a nap! It’s amazing (well, it is if you know how hard it is to persuade this particular baby to nap). It also seems to keep the air cooler inside the cover than outside.

The only problem for me is that now I have to keep walking and walking and walking while she naps, but that’s not a reflection on this great little product, just on an awkward baby! Don’t think twice, if you’ve got a reluctant napper, just get one of these.

(Using with Uppababy Cruz and it’s a good fit.)
